ABOUT US
The Proxies are an Indie Folk Duo originating from London, UK. Whilst bringing the Indie Folk of the early 2000s into the modern day, The Proxies explore heartache, the impermanence of purpose, and the complexities of surviving the fall into adult life.
Jack Schwab and Brad Wilmot have known and played music together since they were 14 years old. After helping each other go through their own individual musical journeys, they finally decided to make it official in early 2024; a duo.
Having now released their first single of 2025, "Louder", they find themselves with one more single to go before their debut album releases in May 2025.

The Proxies perform a truly intimate concert of the perspective shifting EP, "Greener Grass." Contrasting the weightlessness of the countryside and fire crackle, this short film explores Jack and his family's encounters with addiction, panning to each and every member for a glimpse into what was.
LATEST RELEASE
Recorded live at an intimate music venue in London, Katzpace, The Proxies are releasing their first EP. Ahead of bigger projects to come, this is a perfect introduction to the new Indie Folk Duo emerging from London.
